Freedom Rock 2008
Today it just seems appropriate. Remember seeing pictures of the Freedom Rock of Greenfield, Iowa, on the internet? Bubba Sorenson paints this huge rock outside a quarry every May. Well, I recently drove by the "rock" and took a bunch of high resolution pictures of Bubba's latest creation. Today is a good day to share these photos. You can download the nearly 100 MB file here until July 10: https://www.yousendit.com/download/ TTdGUXV0NmN3TGpIRGc9PQ. When you look at the helicopter painted on the rock, please remember the ashes of fallen veterans have been sprinkled into the paint. Happy Fourth! Celebrate Freedom! -submitted by Dick Tremain, past president
